The mystery visitor programme for Frederic Robinson Ltd.
So who can be a mystery customer? We welcome employee's (both past and present) and their families and friends. Very importantly we need enthusiastic pub visitors - people who are passionate about pubs and the standards within them.
To be a "visitor" for us you will need to live in the North West of England or North Wales as this is where all our pubs are. If you feel you would like to be involved in this please register below.
Through the registration process we will uncover what type of pub you like to visit, how often and how far you are prepared to travel. When we have an assignment available that matches these criteria we send an email asking you to visit this website to view your allocated visit. Should you choose to accept the visit you should view the questions, visit pub (always remaining under cover) and then complete the on line questionnaire. We will then re-imburse you £15 as a thank you for the information you have provided.
Please now check your email and follow the instructions contained in it to activate your new account. Once your account has been activated, you will need to login with the username and password that is contained in the activation email. We look forward to working with you.

Completing an online application form does not guarantee a 'visit' will be assigned to the applicant.
The application form must be fully completed in order to qualify for a 'visit'.
Visitors must fulfill the full requirements of the visit to gain their reward, we recommend that you phone ahead of your visit to ensure that the pub is serving food. Incomplete or unfulfilled visits will not be rewarded.
Where possible food should be ordered from the menu (not nuts, crisps or other snack items), therefore the visitor should attempt to conduct the visit during times when food is served.
For non-food serving pubs visits can take place at any time during trading hours.
The pub assigned to the visitor is not negotiable. The visitor may reject the visit but the visitor cannot choose which of the Robinson's pubs they will be assigned.
All Perfect Pub Visitors must remain under cover and not identify themselves as a mystery visitor at the time of their visit.
The questionnaire must be fully completed in full English and not in text style abbreviation.
Expense claims and report details should be received by Frederic Robinson Ltd within 5 working days of the visit taking place.
Expense payment will be by bacs transfer or cheque. No alternative method of payment of expenses is available.
Payment is £15 per visit to either cover or go toward the cost of the visit.
Frederic Robinson Ltd reserves the right to withhold payment should there be a problem with the validity of information supplied.
Your details may be used by Frederic Robinson Limited as part of this programme and other promotions that may assist you in carrying out your secret visits but will NEVER be passed to a third party.

You can request specific pubs of your choice and if they are available they will be assigned to you, however, we cannot guarantee this - it will depend on time and availability. We will however highlight any available missions that do not yet have an allocated agent under "open missions". You will be able to see on your 'mission's page' when you log in. Should you wish to take one of these missions you simply click on the accept button and it will automatically become your mission.
When you are assigned a mission you have 10 days to accept or reject it before it goes to another agent. If this time passes and you have not accepted a mission you would like - please contact us and if possible we will reassign the mission to you. If it has already passed to another agent you will unfortunately loose that mission. If you want the deadline for the visit extending - please ask and we will endeavour to find a suitable date that fits your plans.
After accepting a mission you can print the pre-designed questions by selecting "Print questionnaire". You will also have your wallet guide to help you.
It takes 10 -15 minutes to input all your answers.
We don't want to be unfair to a pub therefore - rather than guessing - always select N/A if you are unsure of your answer!
Unfortunately expenses must be submitted by post as we require both a receipt and a signature.
The programme is designed to subsidise a pub visit for people who enjoy going to the pub anyway. It is a thank you for giving us valuable feedback. Therefore we can only reimburse £15 per mission.
Unfortunately there is no provision for this though we will endeavour to assign missions that are within the distance set by you.
The expense allowance is for the agent assigned the mission only.
You should aim to submit your report online within 2 days of your visit. It is advisable to submit your expenses at the same time.
Not at all, please let us know that you are rejecting the mission as soon as possible so that it can pass to another agent.
Yes, just use the edit option under profile after logging on. Don't forget to save the changes.
